These days I know a lot of vegetarians…. and strangely even more vegans. This means that these folks’ diets have been altered in very significant ways. Notably, they are clearly not receiving the same amount of protein that they had been prior to their dietary decisions.
That is not to say that veganism is a bad health choice. By and large most adults probably should not be imbibing the same amount of meats and dairy that they did as children. Many physicians have even suggested that eating meat on a daily basis has no real place in a grown adult man’s diet, dairy is often even more frowned upon considering it’s clearly negative affects on cholesterol and blood pressure.
Of course you do still need some protein and lucky for you there is protein supplements that can be incredibly effective at keeping you healthy even as you have eliminated many protein rich foods from your diet. The best proteins supplements will keep you feeling energetic and vibrant with out the unnecessary weight gain and negative effects that eating meat and dairy can cause.
In all it would seem that making some significant adjustments in our diets could be a huge boon to our health.
