Last week I ran a fever for a few days. Needless to say it was quite troubling and yet once the fever subsided I was not allowed to go right back to my regular habits. Turns out my body, compromised from having to fight off the fever suddenly needed an infusion of B-12. Of course I did not know this right off the bat and continued on with my life. The result? No less than six canker sores in my mouth. These bad boys kept me from eating or even talking comfortably.
Of course had I made an effort to buy supplements loaded with B-12 I would have been a lot more comfortable and a lot happier camper in general. Instead I was stuck with these canker sores for days after being sick. I had to mind what I ate and I mostly sat in my apartment feeling rather miserable.
When you buy supplements make sure that B-12 is on your list of must haves. We do not tend to think about our B-12 needs until it is too late. I know I did not. Of course now that I have had this set back you had better be sure that I will not be making the same mistake again.
